Hey guys,
I have been using 20% monobenzone cream for 2 months now and I am really happy with my results. I thought that it would take longer to see results (like 6 months) but so far my skin has lightened a few shades but some areas faster then others.
I am almost out of the 2oz bottle so I have just reordered from http://mazjin.com/pigment-correct-monobenzone-20-moisturizing-cream.html
It should arrive in about 5 days and I will continue to use it on my face, neck, chest and forearms. Once those areas have lightened I will start using it on the rest of my body.
I thank everyone that has been following my progress! :O)

Monobenzone 20% cream - Day 50
Hey guys!
Wow it has been a really long time since I updated. My progress has been really good so far, my face a lightened up and the only white spots I noticed were at the edge of my face near my ear. There is a tiny area that that is really white.
I have stopped using it for the last week because I did not want to become too white like that little patch of skin near my ear.
I have begun using it on my chest and hands as well so that I look more even. My face is lighter then my chest and I like the results so far, it has been gradual and even except for that one tiny spot.
Ill update photos soon! :o)

Monobenzone 20% Cream - Day 30
Yayyy its been 30 days (or more I think, I lost count) of using monobenzone 20% and I have been looking carefully at my skin in bright daytime lighting...I think my skin is getting lighter but not all over. It seems like my cheeks seem like they are lightening up faster then my forehead and chin.
I still have a lot of the cream left even though I have been using it daily. Im glad it is lasting this long because this stuff aint cheap!
Buying Monobenzone Online
Another girl (that I met from AskMeHelpDesk) that tried to buy from them said that she wasn't able to get the cream because she lived in Canada and they required a prescription from Canadians? Im not sure if thats true - but Im glad I live in the US =) Anyone in Canada want me to purchase for you, let me know!
Skin Lightening Dreams?
I have been having these dreams about how life would be like if I got REALLY light lol I know it sounds funny but I am fantasying about skin lightening lol thats when you know you are obsessed.
It's really late and it was Labor day today so I had the day off work. Ill update you guys soon, please keep reading and post some comments!

Monobenzone 20% Cream - Day 18
My skin is looking a little bit drier then usual but I didnt want to complicate everything by adding a moisturizer to my regime.
The only thing I am noticing is the my skin is starting look like it needs to be exfoliated. I don't know how to explain it but I have used glycolic acid in the past and a few days later my skin just looks like it wants to peel.
My Skin Wants To Peel
I am not going to manually try to make myself peel because I don't want to risk scarring my skin but Ill give it some time. The smell of this cream is not my favorite because it doesnt smell like waterfalls (lol) but more like an medicated product. I have to get over that.
I am so used to using products like normaderm which smelled beautiful! Anyway, my skin isnt showing signs of distress or redness - just dryness. I was thinking about adding retin-a to my regime but someone on a forum told me not to because this may cause a bad reaction.
I Have to Stop Being Impatient With Skin Care Products
Before I try to speed this up I have to remember that this is a seriously strong product and not to try and add other active ingredients in the mix or I might regret it.
Right now I will compare my face to my chest because my chest is a LOT lighter then my face and Ill know whether its working. It's too soon to tell so I will not give up on this Mono cream.

Monobenzone 20% Cream - Day 12
So its been almost 2 weeks and my skin is getting a little dry but its nothing I cant handle. So far my skin looks better but I cant really tell if it has lightened. I am not noticing any side effects and I havent gotten any acne from this cream which is great.
This Mono Cream Lasts Forever!
I still have more then 90% of the product left so I guess it will last me 2 months :) I keep forgetting to apply the cream on my ears and back of the neck.
The hardest area to apply is my back because I am not that flexible lol sometimes I get my boyfriend to apply the cream there. He asked me once why the cream didnt smell all "girly" and I told him that this one was unscented (he has no idea what this cream does).
Want To See Photos Huh?
Many of you that know me from AskMeHelpDesk cant wait until I post some photos which is understandable and I promise that I will. Most likely after the 4th week where there is results.
I will compare them to photos I took earlier this year. So please stay tooned!
When I applied the cream to my arms and went outside I noticed there was a little shimmer. I don't know if its because I didnt let it dry before going out but it was really pretty lol
I also use SPF 70 sunblock to protect my skin outdoors (usually neutrogena).
That's it for now :D

Monobenzone 20% Cream - Day 8
It's already been 8 days since I started using 20% monobenzone cream on my face and body. So far it is really good moisturizing cream and is easy to apply. I thought it would be thick and not spread easily like a different mono cream I bought, but this one is lighter and absorbs much better.
I noticed when I apply too much (thinking it would lighten faster) my skin gets a bit irritated. My skin is naturally on the dry side so I am use to applying a moisturizer everyday. I thought that it would have a nice scent but it doesn't actually smell like anything - similar to obagi clear.
My Monobenzone Routine:
8:00am - Wake up, shower and apply Mono to face, neck, chest, back, knees and elbows
9:00am - Go to work (yikes, I hate my job lol)
6:00pm - Get home, wash my face and eat supper
11:00pm - Shower again and apply Mono to face, neck, chest, back, knees and elbows
11:20pm - Let Mono dry then apply body lotion
11:30pm - Bedtime (Yes, I sleep early - so what?)
So far I am applying to select areas because I want to lighten those first, then when its all the same color I can think about full body lightening. I am really excited to see some results, I will try not look in the mirror too much lol
I tend to compare my arms to my thighs because they are so much lighter. So if they become the same color then I know that the product is working. Today, I have also been avoiding the sun and the major time when I get sun burned is in the car during rush hour.
Now I always have a long sleep cardigan in the back seat of my car just to cover my arms and hands while I am driving. Then I take it off before I leave the car for work (its hot as hell so I dont want to be wearing a sweater to work.
Try it out, it really does help - even tinted windows didnt protect my arms and chest from darkening while I was driving. This technique was the only thing that has helped me (it's tough to do it when there are other people in the car with you though lol
Well that's it for now, it's getting late so I will go and eat my supper and begin my nightly routine.

Monobenzone 20% Cream - Day 6
It's almost been a full week since I started using monobenzone 20% cream and my skin seems a little drier then normal so I have been using cocoa butter at night after I shower. Right now, I am focusing on my darkest areas to lighten first and Im glad I get a decent amount of product to be able to use it on my body as well.
I would expect to buy 1 bottle a month if I am using on my entire body. I have also taken some photos of my knees and elbows as a starting point and will post them on a photo sharing website. Anyone that follows my blog will get the password for it so you are see my progress.
Many people keep telling me that mono will give me spots and I understand that it can be a side effect but I will take a chance. I feel that if I do wake up one day with patches, I will just stop using it. This is my last hope as I have tried everything and I need something that is permanent.
I'm not looking to become like Michael Jackson but more like Rihanna skin color. I still want to be considered african american.
I have been applying a thin layer to my skin during the day and night. I feel really good about this cream and I think within 4 weeks I will have the results I am looking for.

Dark Knees and Elbows
Okay so today I wanted to discuss my issue with my knees and elbows. I am not happy with the way they are right at the moment and wish that they were the same color as my leg. Some say that its normal for people of color to have darker knees but I tend to disagree. My father is as dark as I am but his knees are the same color as the rest of his body.
This frustrates me because if we are in the same family, why such a big difference? I have been trying to lighten my knees and elbows for years now with little success. Here is what I have tried so far:
So after all that, my knees became smooth and maybe 1/2 shade lighter. I still am not where I want to be so I will try to use 20% mono and hope for the best. If I still dont get the results I want - well then I may just give up and wear pants for the rest of my life!

- 2% Hydroquinone
- 4% Hydroquinone
- 10% Glycolic acid

- Lactic acid peel
- Dermabrasion
- Retin-a

Ordered 20% Monobenzone Cream - Week 1
I decided to buy monobenzone because everything that I have been using hasnt been work well lately. I was beginning to get frustrated and wanted to see some REAL results. For the next 2 months I was researching on how benoquin worked and what the main ingredient was.
I learned that monobenzone is a depigmenting agent that will destroy the melanin cells permanently. I was so excited about this agent that I stopped buying hydroquinone creams and searched for online sellers of monobenzone.
That was probably the hardest part of my decision to use mono - finding a reliable source! I'm glad that I have a sixth sense when it comes to pointing out fraudulent websites and products. I usually did a background check on the company and made sure they had a phone number available.
Also, I only wanted to buy mono from a source in either US, Canada or UK.
I finally found exactly what I was looking for - a company in Canada that sells monobenzone cream formulations and it's powder form. Let me tell you, I have never been so happy in my entire life. I called them right away to find out more and was told that if I lived in Canada they would need to see my prescription. I told them that I lived in the US and in that case, I didnt have to fax them proof - but I did tell them it was for my vitiligo.
Within 5 days I had monobenzone cream delivered to my house :) it looked just like any other cream but was a little thicker. It had a smooth white texture and smelled like a topical cream (not all floral and pretty lol).
It came with a data sheet that explained the drug and how it was used to depigment skin. I read through it and began using the cream as soon as showered. It glided on my skin nicely and vanished within a few minutes. Usually benoquin comes in a tiny tube but the company I bought it from sold it in a white bottle that can hold about 2oz which should last me a long time.
I didnt feel any discomfort when applying it and it was actually very moisturizing. So far I am really excited about it and can't wait until I see some positive results.
